Entry Conditions – Gearbox Australia 2025

19 April – Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney

To ensure a safe and smooth experience for all, please review the official entry conditions below. These rules are enforced by Qudos Bank Arena and must be followed by every attendee.

⏱️ Entry Times

  • Doors open at 15:00 sharp
  • Last entry is strictly at 21:30
  • No re-entry allowed.

🪩 Floor Access vs Level 1 Access – Please Read Carefully

This is a non-seated event. There are two separate sections in the venue:

  • GA Standing (Floor Level) – this is the main dancefloor area

  • Level 1 (Level 1 Floor / First Ring) – an upper-level area

Your ticket will clearly state GA Standing or Level 1.

👉 You can only access the area listed on your ticket.

  • If your ticket says Level 1, you cannot enter the Floor Level

  • If your ticket says GA Standing, you cannot go to Level 1

Each section has its own bars, food options, toilets, and amenities.
There is no movement allowed between levels, so choose wisely when buying your ticket.

Note: The dancefloor is only accessible to Floor ticket holders (GA Standing).
If you are on Level 1, you will have a clear view but no access to the floor or dance area.
On Floor Level, there will also be seating areas available to chill.

Even if you have both tickets you cannot visit both! So be aware where you and your friends will be and make sure you got the same ticket type. Map will follow soon.

• 14:30 – VIP Check-In
• 14:45 – Early Merch Access
• 15:00 – Meet & Greet with the lineup in Olympia

✅ General Entry Requirements

  • This is an 18+ event. Valid ID required.

  • Accepted forms of ID (no photos of IDs accepted):

    • Valid Australian or international passport

    • Australian driver or rider licence (physical or digital)

    • Australian proof of age card or NSW Photo Card

    • Over-18 Keypass identity card

  • All guests must present a valid, scannable ticket for entry.

🎒 Bag & Cloakroom Policy

  • No backpacks of any size permitted

  • No bags larger than A5 (200 mm x 150 mm) allowed

  • Sling bags and bum bags allowed

  • Cloakroom available for a $10 fee, with all proceeds donated to charity

  • All cloaked items will be security searched

🚫 Prohibited Items

Please do not bring the following:

  • Large bags or backpacks

  • Chewing gum

  • Vapes, e-cigarettes, or other electronic smoking devices

  • Professional cameras or recording equipment

  • iPads, tablets, selfie sticks, or tripods

  • Alcohol, illegal substances, glass, or metal bottles

  • Commercial food or large food containers

  • Weapons, laser pointers, fireworks, drones, etc.

  • Any item that could endanger others or obstruct the view

💡 Additional Info

  • The venue is completely cashless – all food, drinks, and merch must be paid for by card or digital payment.

  • Hydration stations are available – you may bring one empty plastic water bottle (max. 600ml, no glass or metal).

  • Strobe lights and haze effects will be used.

  • Smoking only in designated outdoor areas.

  • No professional photography (camera's with detachable lenses) - The rest is fine!

  • If you require medical assistance, security or First Aid staff will be on hand at all times.
